- Explanation of the different types of technical rescues.
- The recognition of dangers associated with technical rescues.
- Explanation of the technical rescue environment and why it is difficult to Rx victims.
- Explanation of pathophysiology, assessment and treatment of unusual injuries.
- Survival profiles.
- Recognition and treatment of "Crush Syndrome".
- Explanation of medical equipment used in technical rescues.
- Case presentations.
The lecture consists of a slide show that shows actual technical rescue incidents. Also, we will bring our confined space rescue truck and collapse trailer to show you our teams rescue capabilities.
