CARS TRT members working on accessing a "victim" trapped under a 3-ton pipe in a 10' trench. This was the problem given to the team for FTX Spring '95 and was complicated by the 20-ton track-hoe at the end of the trench. By performing these evolutions as close to real life as possible, we learn faults in equipment, procedures and training.
