Hazardous Materials Awareness

Description: This course is designed for all emergency responders who may respond to potential hazardous materials emergencies. Includes hazard recognition, and instruction on using the DOT Emergency Response Guide Book. Those completing course requirements and passing the written exam will receive VDFP certification.

Hours: 8

Standard/Regulation: NFPA 472-92 and OSHA 1910.120 (subpart H)

Dates/Times: July 12th, 2008 08:00-17:00

Location: Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad, 828 McIntire Road

What to Bring: something to write notes is all that is required, lunch is on your own.
